Calvados ~ Fine
This calvados from Normandy (France) has aged for two years in oak barrels (50% new oak). This fine is beautiful and clear with a pleasant gold yellow color. There are complex aromas on the nose of pear, apple, vanilla, and citrus as well as hints of earthiness. The palate is full of dried fruit and vanilla with a nice roundness. It is perfect as an aperitif with or without ice, or with a few drops of water added if desired.

A bright gold apple brandy from Normandy (France). With complex, very intense aromas of apple, pear, vanilla, and citrus with earthy hints. Round and fresh, which shows fruity aromas of vanilla and dried fruits. A well-integrated whole with good intensity. A very simplistic expression of Calvados, it is best regarded as a mixing alternative for vodka or even gin.
