On the palate rich black fruits - raspberry, blackcurrants, and prunes are complemented by silky tannins that lead into a smooth long creamy finish. It is a concentrated and structured wine that be drunk now or be laid down for further aging. This Châteauneuf-du-Pape by Domaine Pierre Usseglio pairs well with lamb stew, grilled venison, charcuterie, mushroom fricassee, a variety of different cheeses, or even a roast beef sandwich.
