This white wine from Provence (France) Petit Salé in French means “little salt” which describes the local grape Clairette which is a small and white and round grape. It also refers to the hint of salinity that is expressed in the wine. The wine is a pale straw color with aromas of white flowers, white peach, and Meyer lemon. On the palate, it is crisp and fresh with nuances of limestone and flint. Petit Salé by Château de Roquefort pairs beautifully with fish and other seafood.
